There’s a new future for textbooks at l’Ecole de la Grace! And, there’s a $5,000 matching grant to make it a reality.
Our vision is to not only supply students with the books they need, but cut down on waste and make the operations of the school more economically sustainable by reducing the annual textbook cost. One major key is the introduction of a book-buy back program. At the end of the school year, students who have kept their books in good condition will have the opportunity to sell their books back to l’Ecole de la Grace which will incentivize students and their families to keep their books in good condition and also invest directly in families throughout the community.
The matching grant will support us along the way to revitalizing our textbook program with your help.
Ken and Carol Grode will match up to $5,000 in support of this project. It’s a one-to-one match, so when you give, you’re doubling your impact and providing even more support to our students and teachers in Caneille, Haiti. The match also gives us all a reason to share about CRDF with others who want to make a difference internationally.
The Grode Family has been ongoing partners with CRDF and we want to express how much we appreciate and resect their family’s work to build a better world through sustainable and compassionate change.
